Long Term Care Web (LTCWEB)
The program was developed for the Healthcare and Insurance office and it will be used off-site by OPM contractors. The system was initially set up for the Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program (FLTCIP). It is now used by the contractor for both FLTCIP and the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP) in the premium collection process. This system allows the customer to display information such as name, date of birth, case status, and date of death (if it applies) for the SSN or claim number that is entered into the system using a web interface. Since this system will be used by contractors, it allows them instant access to parts of the retirement system files. Interfaces with the web.
