Beginning January 1, 2020, the Shared Mobility Device (SMD) Pilot Program restricts the operation of SMDs for hire to the designated SMD Service Area. SMDs include motorized skateboards and scooters (e-scooters), electric-assist bikes (e-bikes) and pedal bicycles for hire.
