Published by U.S. EPA Office of Research and Development (ORD) | U.S. Environmental Protection Agency | Metadata Last Checked: August 02, 2025 | Last Modified: 2022-04-05
Soil and chemical data in first data file are for marshes in CA and NY. The soil data associated with the Ninigret marsh (RI) may be used by managers and restoration specialists assessing the vulnerability and condition of the similar salt marshes in RI. The data are site specific and may be of interest to the Prudence Island National Estuarine Research Reserve, Save the Bay, and the RI Coastal Resources Management Council. This dataset is associated with the following publication: Watson, E., F.I. Rahman, A. Woolfolk, R. Meyer, N. Maher, C. Wigand, and A.B. Gray. Public Library of Science, San Francisco, CA, USA, 17(9): e0273260, (2022).
