MCSP Monarch and Plant Monitoring - SOP 6 Red-imported Fire Ant Mound Data

This record contains counts and measurements of red-imported fire ant (RIFA) collected with belt-transects (following SOP 6; ServCat record 103385) during 2017 at custom GRTS draw sites within select monitoring areas for monitoring monarch butterfly and plants. These data were collected as part of the Monarch Conservation Science Partnership (MCSP) monarch butterfly and habitat monitoring trial. Final verified data file includes measurements of length, width and height of mounds along with activity classification and presence of broods. Areas monitored included Balcones Canyonlands (TX), Hagerman (TX), NWRs in Legacy Region 2.
