Water temperature (degree C), salinity (psu), turbidity (NTU, Nephelometric Turbidity unit), suspended sediment concentration (SSC, mg/L), wave height (m), water depth (m), and 3D velocity (u, v and w for east, north and upward, respectively) data were collected using multiple sensors mounted on tripods deployed in the bottom water column at two sites in Barataria Bay, Louisiana, including Barataria Bay North (BBN) and Barataria Bay South (BBS). There are two observational periods. Periods 1 and 2 are 12/13/2018 23:00 to 2/6/2019 22:30 and 3/8/2019 23:00 to 5/8/2019 19:00, respectively. The coordinates for BBN and BBS are 29.420417 N, 89.944028 W, and 29.343889 N, 89.940833 W, respectively. More details, such as height above the bed for each sensor, can be found in Li et al. (2021). Data are in three Excel files. There are multiple sheets in each Excel file. BBS2, for instance, is for Barataria Bay South tripod station in Period 2.
