Mechanical bathythermograph profile data in this accession were collected between February 22, 1941 and October 18, 1972 in the North Pacific Ocean. 87,878 profiles of data were submitted by J.S. Sarupria of Scripps Institution of Oceanography, La Jolla, CA on one tape in UBT format. The data were received from Roger Bauer via File Transfer Protocol.
