Medicare Non-Utilization Project (MNUP)
A program integrity initiative using a data exchange between SSA and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).CMS will identify Medicare Part B enrollees who have not used Part B for 3 or more years. SSA will use the data as an indicator to select and prioritize cases for review to determine continued eligibility to Title II benefits.
