Meteorological and evaporation data used in a water-budget analysis of the Medina and Diversion Lake system
This data set contains meteorological and evaporation data collected at the Medina Lake meteorological station (U.S. Geological Survey station 293355098560601) during March 2017–October 2022. These data include 30-minute averages of air pressure, air temperature, relative humidity, vapor pressure, wind speed and direction, and evaporation. The daily total evaporation measured at the U.S. Geological Survey meteorological station was compared with the daily total evaporation from the Texas Water Development Board to obtain a corrected daily total of evaporation. The corrected daily total evaporation was used as one of the measurable terms in the water-budget analysis of the Medina and Diversion Lake system.
