NOAA National Ocean Service (NOS) Coastal Services Center (CSC) true color (RGB) orthorectified mosaic image tiles, Long Island, NY, 2002-06 (NCEI Accession 0100090)
This data set contains orthophotos of an area over Long Island, NY. 100 images were orthorectified with U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) 10m Digital Elevation Models, and then mosaicked and output to one thousand five hundred and forty-one 1000m by 1000m GeoTIFF tiles with a pixel resolution of 0.5 meters. The orthophotography was produced for USGS contract 01CRCN0012, task order 01012C0050, Long Island Benthic Mapping. Data are in .tiff format with associated browse graphics as .jpg and .png files, .aux files, and Federal Geographic Data Committee metadata.
