NYTD Reviewer Responsibilities

On behalf of the Children’s Bureau, JBS International, Inc.'s Child Welfare Compliance Reviews Team (CWCRT) maintains a national pool of National Youth in Transition Database (NYTD) Reviewers to support the Children’s Bureau in administering the federal NYTD Reviews. NYTD Reviewers provide unique expertise as young people with experience in the child welfare system as they participate in pre-onsite phase planning calls, onsite review activities, and entrance and exit conferences. The following are general responsibilities of NYTD Reviewers participating in a NYTD Review: Experienced NYTD Reviewers may be promoted to the role of Senior NYTD Reviewer. This advanced role provides additional peer-to-peer support to NYTD Reviewers on how to successfully perform NYTD Review activities.
