Oceanographic profile temperature and salinity measurements collected using high resolution CTD from ships in the Ross Sea from 1976-12-26 to 1985-01-29 (NCEI Accession 0000549)
This dataset includes 4 CTD profiles completed during project Deep Freeze. Each profile has a header line, and a variable number of data lines which lists depth or pressure, temperature, and salinity. The PI was Stanley Jacobs, Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory. The data were collected on the Northwind, Burton Island, Polar Sea, and Polar Star in the Ross Sea, 26 December 1976 - 29 January 1985.
