A MER-2020 Series Spectroradiometer at 47 m has been used to measure downward irradiance and upward radiance at the open ocean mooring roughly 60 miles north of Oahu near the Hawaii Ocean Time-series (HOTs) site. The data are part of the Hawaii Air-sea Logging Experiment, A Long-term Oligotrophic Habitat Assessment (HALE ALOHA), funded through a NSF Academic Research Infrastructure (ARI) grant, lead by Drs. David Karl, Roger Lukas, and Pierre Flament of the School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology at the University of Hawaii.
