OSHA Technical Support System (OTSS)

Published by Occupational Safety and Health Administration | Department of Labor | Metadata Last Checked: January 21, 2026 | Last Modified: 2025-12-17T16:06:34.781Z
The OSHA Technical Support System (OTSS) replaces LISA and TESA to serve as the main database for the collection of sampling and analytical results produced during the laboratory analysis of chemical samples and to record, store, track and make available to OSHA personnel, and technical information pertaining to OSHA’s equipment servicing, which most often includes calibration measurements. The database directly supports laboratory processes in which sampling and analytical results are generated, processed, and distributed to OSHA field personnel as well as equipment ordering/servicing and agency consumable supply ordering related to field office technical support.
