Outer Continental Shelf Oil and Natural Gas Wells - Alaska Region NAD 83
Surface Locations of Boreholes drilled for exploration or oil and gas production. Dataset is maintained by BOEM AK RE. All wells drilled before 1986 are mapped in NAD27 horizontal datum. These well locations were converted using the NCAT converter horizontal datum NAD27 to horizontal datum NAD83(1986). Karluk and Hansen Bay wells were excluded as they are State wells per direction by BOEM RSRE and BSEE AK.
