Partial mortality, size, presence, and density of ESA-listed Acropora globiceps and Isopora crateriformis coral colonies in Tutuila, American Samoa in 2025

This metadata record describes Acropora globiceps and Isopora crateriformis raw density at the site level as well as colony-level partial mortality, size, and bleaching, and a classifier for each species. Surveys were conducted by SCUBA divers from February 4th-26th, 2025 and March 10th-27th, 2025 in Tutuila, American Samoa by scientists of the Ecosystem Sciences division at the Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center, and this project was funded by the Inflation Reduction Act (NA24NMFX405C0005-T1-01). This metadata record will be updated as data will be collected from benthic fixed site photogrammetric imagery, a classifier is developed, genomics thermal tolerance data, subsurface temperature recorder, and more in situ benthic data is collected until 2027.
