Partial pressure of carbon dioxide, sea surface salinity, water temperature and other parameters collected from surface underway observations during the RRS James Cook JC278; 93382 (EXPOCODE 740H20250530) in the North Atlantic Ocean, Celtic Sea from 2025-05-30 to 2025-06-22. The partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2) in the surface ocean of the northeast Atlantic, analyzed using the General Oceanic equilibrator system onboard the RRS James Cook (Porcupine Abyssal Plain Sustained Observatory site (PAP-SO @49N, 16.5W) and surrounding area, during research cruise JC278 in May/June 2025. The analysis was part of the NERC-funded AtlantiS project.
