The container has a planar base (B) formed of a rectangular pace plate whose two corners are truncated. A cover (C) has lower peripheral walls (4, 4`) following the base contour. A summit portion (6) is placed at the proximity of the top of a radome. The walls and the portion (6) are connected to sides corresponding to sides of a rectangle, by an inclined panel (5) provided at the immediate neighborhood of the radome. The cover has an inner side covered by strips made of a foam type absorbing material. The lateral walls of the cover have handles freely rotated in a hinge.
