Method involves producing conical base ring having truncated torus, coating stainless steel support with scatter-sinter layer, which are baked to give sintered friction lining. Sintered friction lining is separated from stainless steel support after baking. Unwound sintered friction lining so obtained is inserted in base and unwound sintered friction lining is fastened on torus of base ring by material fit.
