Patent AT-E401705-T1: [Translated] ANTENNA DEVICES AND RADIO COMMUNICATIONS DEVICE USING THE SAME
A telecast-receiving antenna of a cellular phone having an improved gain is provided. A signal-band separating circuit 11 is interposed between a communication antenna 3 and a ground portion 2 that are disposed on a circuit board 1. The communication antenna 3 is connected to a communication circuit 12 by a signal line 14 via a signal-band separating circuit 11. A telecast-receiving antenna 10 is connected to a broadcast circuit 13 by a signal line 15. The signal-band separating circuit 11 transmits signals in a frequency band for communication between the communication antenna 3 and the communication circuit 12, and transmits signals in a frequency band for telecasts between the communication antenna 3 and the ground portion 2. The antenna length (electrical length) of the telecast-receiving antenna 10 is extended by adding the antenna length of the communication antenna 3 in addition to the antenna length of the ground portion 2, thereby improving the antenna gain during telecast reception.
