This dataset includes a variety of environmental variables from surface water of five wetland sites (three natural and two restored), and the effluent of three wastewater treatment plants. Potential denitrification rates were also measured in the surface sediments of the five wetlands from the Texas Coastal Bend. The data was collected over a course of 18 months from late 2018 to early 2020. The variables include pH, water temperature (°C), salinity (psu), dissolved oxygen (mg/L), nitrate, nitrite, and ammonium concentrations (µM), d15N-NH4, d15N-NO3, d15N-NO2 (per mille), dissolved N2O, CO2, and CH4 (µM), and potential denitrification rates from wetland sediments (kg N·ha^-2·yr^-1).
