POWER PATH DC
The Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia released a Staff Proposed Order for Formal Case No. 1130, In the Matter of the Investigation into Modernizing the Energy Delivery System for Increased Sustainability (MEDSIS). The Staff Proposed Order addresses the recommendations from the Final Report submitted by the MEDSIS Stakeholder Working Group. The Commission is paving the regulatory path forward in the District’s clean energy policies as well as working to yield tangible near- and long-term benefits for District residents and ratepayers. As the utility regulator, the Commission embraces our essential role in helping the District achieve a clean energy future. As we move forward with the next phases of grid modernization in the District, our initiative will be known as Power Path DC. Grid modernization is an ongoing journey and not a destination. We look forward to continuing this journey with District residents and businesses.
