Pressure, temperature, and current velocity data from speed meter casts in the Gulf of Mexico as part of the SYNoptic Ocean Prediction (SYNOP) project from 1988-05-01 to 1990-08-31 (NCEI Accession 9700183)
Pressure, temperature, and current velocity data were collected using speed meter casts from the R/V ENDEAVOR and OCEANUS in the Gulf of Mexico from May 1, 1988 to August 31, 1990. Data were collected and submitted by Thomas Shay from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill as part of the SYNoptic Ocean Prediction (SYNOP) project.
