Publicly Reported State Municipal Solid Waste Data Version 1

This dataset is a collection of publicly reported municipal solid waste (MSW) data in the United States retrieved via a web search as part of an analysis of waste estimation methods. The dataset covers MSW generation, recycling, and disposal, with a high degree a variability in data availability based on differences in state reporting practices.
