A group of volunteers led by marine biologists participated in the removal of Gracilaria salicornia and Kappaphycus, invasive macroalgae species, from select reefs during Spring 2002 in Kanohe Bay, Oahu, Hawaii. Data include the weight of the biomass per meter-squared and the number of minutes necessary to clear each meter-squared area.
