R/V KAIYO cruises from 1995-2000 collecting CTD, XCTD, and dissolved oxygen data in support of the Tropical Ocean Climate Study in the Tropical Western Pacific (NCEI Accession 0048913)

This dataset includes 10 cruises of R/V Kaiyo of the Japan Marine Science and Technology Center conducted in 1995-2000 as part of the Tropical Ocean Climate Study. The cruises took place in the western tropical Pacific, from south and west of the Marshall Islands, to north of Papua New Guinea and west to the Philippines. Physical oceanographic profile data included in this dataset are CTD, XCTD, and dissolved oxygen. Shipboard ADCP from these cruises are available in a separate dataset (NCEI Accession 0000755). Data formats are ASCII and use the World Ocean Circulation Experiment format standards.
