Racial/Ethnic Differences in Mental Health Service Use among Adults

This chartbook uses combined 2008 to 2012 data from the National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) to presentnationally representative estimates of mental health service utilization among adults aged 18 or older within different racial/ethnicgroups in the United States. Data on racial/ethnic differences in mental health service utilization also are examined inthe context of other characteristics, such as age, gender, marital status, employment status, poverty status, insurance status, overall health, substance use disorder status, and education.
