Region 7 Significant Ecological Resource Areas (ECO_RES.SIG_REGIONS)
SIG_REGIONS is a boundary layer that displays Region 7's Significant Ecological Resource Areas. This layer represents large areas within which different ecosystem types occur, such as the Prairie Pothole wetland depressions in northern Iowa or the Flint Hills tall grasslands in eastern Kansas. Note: a particular ecosystem type may not be contiguous throughout an entire polygon; rather, that ecosystem type can be found there.
