Published by U.S. EPA Office of Research and Development (ORD) | U.S. Environmental Protection Agency | Metadata Last Checked: August 02, 2025 | Last Modified: 2016-12-19
Sulfonation of graphitic carbon nitride (g-CN) affords a polar and strongly acidic catalyst, Sg-CN, which displays unprecedented reactivity and selectivity in biodiesel synthesis and esterification reactions at room temperature. This dataset is associated with the following publication: Varma, R., R.B.N. Baig, S. Verma, and M. Nadagouda. Room temperature synthesis of biodiesel using sulfonated graphitic carbon nitride.
