The Silbo Challenger mission is a partnership between industry and academia which will exercise a number of new Slocum glider features and long term deployment stratgies including shoreside piloting tools, glider firmware, battery design, thruster design, hull design and low cost deployment and recovery in support of open ocean deployments.
