These data reflect calculations for calcification and erosion rates of different stony coral species in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Field data were collected in 2007 and 2009 and calculations are dependent on demographic survey data that measure colony size and proportion of live tissue. This dataset is associated with the following publication: Fisher, W. Skeletal Growth Capacity as a Measure of Coral Species and Community Resilience. ECOLOGICAL INDICATORS. Elsevier Science Ltd, New York, NY, USA, 142: 109208, (2022).
