Small Mammals Inventory Data for the National Parklands of Northern Alaska
This dataset includes small mammal capture records collected by the National Park Service’s Arctic Inventory and Monitoring Program (Lawler et al. 2009) between 2000 and 2003 (Cook and MacDonald, 2004). Sampling occurred across five National Parklands including Bering Land Bridge National Preserve, Cape Krusenstern National Monument, Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserve, Kobuk Valley National Park, and Noatak National Preserve. The study was a collaborative effort between the Beringian Coevolution Project at the Museum of Southwestern Biology, University of New Mexico, and the ARCN Inventory and Monitoring Program of the National Park Service, Alaska Region.
