Southwest Peninsular Florida 2016 ESI SOCECON Polygons, Line, Points
This data set contains vector polygons for for archaeological sites, vector lines for railways routes, and vector points for airports, beaches, EPA facilities, equipment storage, heliports, and staging locations in Southwest Peninsular Florida. Location specific type and source information are stored in relational data tables (described below) designed to be used in conjunction with this spatial data layer. ESI data characterize the marine and coastal environments and wildlife by their sensitivity to spilled oil. The ESI data include information for three main components: shoreline habitats, sensitive biological resources, and human-use resources.
This data set comprises a portion of the ESI data for Southwest Peninsular Florida. The entirety of the ESI Human-Use data layers consists of: PARKS-MANAGED AREAS Polygons; NAVIGATION-MARINE Points; POLITICAL-JURISDICTIONAL Polygons, Lines, Points; RESOURCE MANAGEMENT Polygons, Points; SOCECON Polygons, Lines, Points; and NATURAL HAZARD Polygons.
