State TANF Data

States receive block grants to design and operate programs that accomplish the purposes of the TANF program (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families). The Office of Family Assistance collects state level data on total families, 2-parent families, 1-parent families, 0-parent families, adult recipients, and child recipients of TANF services and TANF-related Separate State Programs (SSPs).
