Substance Use and Mental Health Estimates from the 2013 National Survey on Drug Use and Health: Overview of Findings
This report uses 2013 National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) to assess the prevalence of substance use and mental disorders among those aged 12 or older, adolescents aged 12 to 17, and adults aged 18 or older and the receipt of treatment/services for behavioral health issues. The 2013 rates of suicide ideation and rates of co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders are also presented.
