Suicidal Thoughts and Behavior among Adults: Results from the 2015 National Survey on Drug Use and Health

This report presents estimates for suicidal thoughts, plans, and non-fatal attempts from the 2015 National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) for adults aged 18 or older. Estimates are also included of those that had suicidal thoughts, their percentage of illicit drug use, substance use disorders, and major depressive episode. Comparisons are made by sex and by age group. Trends are examined between 2014 and 2014 and in some cases, 2008 and 2015.
