Suisun thistle (Cirsium hydrophilum var. hydrophilum) is a federally-endangered plant that is endemic to tidal marsh in Solano County California. Suisun thistle populations on CDFW lands were monitored from 2018-2023 for adaptive management purposes. This dataset includes Suisun thistle abundance data from three different locations: Peytonia Slough Ecological Reserve and adjacent conserved lands, Grizzly Island Wildlife Area Joice Island Unit, and Hill Slough Wildlife Area (Cirsium_Observations_2018-2023.csv). This data is derived from GPS point and polygon data collected in the field from 2018-2023 and includes data on life history stage (basal rosette or reproductive). This dataset also includes monitoring photos from a set location at Grizzly Island Wildlife Area Joice Island Unit from 2018-2023 (Cirsium_Photos_2018-2023). This data and metadata were submitted by California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) Staff though the Data Management Plan (DMP) framework with the id: DMP000048.
