Tag Recovery data was collected during a NOAA research cruise by John R. Manning cruise in 1957 and NOAA research cruises by the Charles H. Gilbert in 1957 and 1958 in the main Hawaiian Islands. Recovery and release dates and locations, length and weight data of individual skipjack tuna and tag data were collected. This database contains tag data recovered and released by NOAA research vessels. If the tag was recaptured and/or released by a fishery commercial vessel, it has been designated as fisheries confidential data.
