Temperature and speed of sound profile collected by XBT from R/V Acadiana in the northern Gulf of Mexico from 2016-09-10 (NCEI Accession 0240803)
This dataset contains a temperature, depth, resistance, and speed of sound profile measured by bathythermograph (XBT) in the northern Gulf of Mexico as part of a larger acoustic measurement expedition. The data were collected at one site from R/V Acadiana on 2016-09-10. The profile was collected with a Lockheed Martin Sippican MK21 with a hand-held launcher. All raw and converted files are included.
