THEORY OF CHANGE: Illinois Trauma Focus Model for Reducing Long-term Foster Care
This presentation explains how the Illinois Permanecy Innovations Initiative (PII) project expects to increase rates of permanency for the target population and it describes the intervention being used, Trauma Affect Regulation: Guide for Education and Therapy (TARGET), a strength-based approach to education and therapy when youth and their families have been affected by trauma or experience a high level of stress related to adverse experiences.
