Trajectory profile data from glider SBU02-03, including pH deployed by Stony Brook University in the Mid-Atlantic Bight, North Atlantic Ocean from 2023-08-03 to 2023-08-24 (NCEI Accession 0294109)

This dataset contains the trajectory profile data from glider SBU02-03 from one seasonal deployment to investigate conditions in the Atlantic Bight including the monitoring of ocean acidification. The glider used for the automated observation includes an integrated deep rated version of the Ion Sensitive Field Effect Transistor (ISFET)-based pH sensor. The pH sensor unit is complemented with existing glider sensors including a CTD, a WETLabs FLBBCD ECO puck configured for simultaneous chlorophyll fluorescence and optical backscatter measurements, and an Aanderaa Optode for measuring dissolved oxygen. This deployment was launched south of Shinnecock Bay, NY and thence ran across the shelf, then SW to a NW section up toward NY City and was recovered off Point Pleasant, NJ. This delayed mode, high-resolution post-processed dataset contains CTD, chlorophyll a, dissolved oxygen and pH data.
