TRNSYS Building Energy Simulation Model for a Net-Zero Energy Building with a Ground-Source Heat Pump
This TRNSYS building energy simulation model is developed for a Net-Zero Energy Building (NZEB) located on the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) campus in Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA. The model integrates a two-capacity ground-source heat pump (GSHP), a heat pump water heater (HPWH), an energy recovery ventilator (ERV), a whole-house dehumidifier, and a photovoltaic (PV) array to simulate building performance.
