Upper Klamath River Basin Surface Water Hydraulic Modeling Topobathymetric Data from the Klamath River Basin Revised Natural Flow Study

Topobathymetry was an integral portion of the hydraulics component of the Klamath River Basin Revised Natural Flow Study. Important hydraulic locations in the Upper Klamath River Basin often are aligned with natural bedrock reefs that acted as hydraulic controls and were highly influential in altering storage and streamflow conditions in a pre-development condition. In 1981-2020 conditions, there are often dams or other hydraulic structures at many key locations. In pre-development conditions, there were also flow paths that have since been disconnected from the Klamath River. Three critical pre-development topobathymetric surfaces were created for the hydraulics components analyses in and surrounding the following three locations: Upper Klamath Lake, the Klamath River-Lost River Slough-Lower Klamath Lake system, and Tule Lake.
