Vegetation Map of Desert National Wildlife Refuge 2013
This feature class or layer consists of polygon layers that delineate 29 vegetation communities which represent National Vegetation Classification Standard Groups. The map covers the public part of Desert National Wildlife Refuge, which is about 305,800 hectares. The classified map can be used to assist with land management decisions that affect native plants and animals on the Refuge. The feature layers are intended to be updated. This version has one record for each Group. Each record has many geographically separated parts which is known as 'multipart.'
