WA Tax Exemptions - Potential Eligibility by Make/Model Excluding Vehicle Price Criteria
This list is based on vehicle descriptions. Only fuel cell electric vehicles that meet the requirements in RCW 82.12.817 qualify for the tax exemption. To be eligible, the sale or lease must occur before June 30, 2029.
The clean alternative fuel vehicle exemptions under RCW 82.08.9999 and RCW 82.12.9999, which applied to qualifying new or used clean alternative fuel vehicles, ended on July 31, 2025.
