Bathythermograph (XBT) data from GOLDEN FLEECE in the North Pacific Ocean from 1989-09-16 to 1989-10-02 (NCEI Accession 9000090)
The data in this accession was collected in NE Pacific (limit-180) from ship Golden Fleece between September 16, 1989 and October 2, 1989. The real time data of water temperature at varying depth bathythermograph (XBT) was recorded in stripcharts by the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Seattle. These ten stripcharts and radio logs were submitted to NODC by Virginia Molenaar. The XBT data from these stripcharts have been digitized and is present in the current NODC data storage system in C116 file format.
