Bathythermograph (XBT) data from USCGC Chase in the Caribbean Sea, North Atlantic Ocean, and North Pacific Ocean from 1991-09-22 to 1991-11-11 (NCEI Accession 9100235)
The data in this accession were collected in NW Atlantic (limit-40 W) from ship CHASE between September 22, 1991 to November 11, 1991. The real time data of water temperature at varying depth bathythermograph (XBT) was recorded in stripcharts by the US Navy. Twenty one radio logs and no stripcharts were submitted to NODC. The XBT data from these stripcharts have been digitized and are present in the current NODC data storage system in C116 file format.
