This dataset includes water temperature and specific conductance (TC) data measured at USGS streamgage number 05536995 (Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal at Romeoville, IL). Four Campbell® Scientific SC547 TC probes are positioned in a natural niche on east (left) bank 1200 feet downstream of the stage gage at this site. The TC data are measured every five minutes at four gage height levels (P1 = 21 feet, P2 = 17 feet, P3 = 13 feet, P4 = 9 feet). The gage datum is 551.76 feet above the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88). The annual statistics of TC (minimum, maximum, mean, median, and standard deviation) for Water Year 2018 are provided in a comma separated value (csv) file.
