This dataset contains water temperature, salinity, and velocity collected by CTD, ADCP, and current meters from OSNAP East moorings CF1 - CF7 in the Irminger Sea. OSNAP (Overturning in the Subpolar North Atlantic Program) is an NSF funded project to measure the full depth, basin-wide overturning circulation and associated transport of heat and freshwater in the Subpolar North Atlantic (www.o-snap.org). Scripps Institution of Oceanography's contribution to the array consists of a series of seven vertical sub-surface moorings deployed along the continental shelf and slope southeast of Greenland near 60°N. This dataset contains 2016 to 2020 data from the Cape Farewell array. Seven moorings were deployed. The data sets are time series of pressure, temperature, salinity, and currents and have been fully processed, calibrated and quality controlled. Data are saved in netCDF format.
