This dataset contains water temperature, salinity, oxygen, currents and other chemical and biological measurements taken by CTD, Niskin bottle, ADCP from the research vessel Keifu Maru in the NORTH Pacific Ocean. KS11-02 cruise was carried out during the period from February to March, 2011. Hydrographic observation was made using a SeaBird Electronics (SBE) 36 position carousel equipped with 10-liter Niskin water sample bottles, a CTD system (SBE911plus) equipped with JFE Advantech oxygen sensor (RINKO III) along longitude 165 degree East. Water samples were analyzed for salinity, dissolved oxygen, nutrients, pH and phytopigment (chlorophyll-a and phaeopigments). Current data was measured by Teledyne RDI's vessel-mounted ADCP system (38kHz Ocean Surveyor). These data are part of the World Data Service and US State Department Marine Research Data U2011-003. Data are in PDF.
