This dataset contains water temperature, salinity, oxygen, currents and other data taken by CTD, Niskin bottles, and ADCP from the research vessel Ryofu Maru, cruise RF13-01, in the North Pacific Ocean. The entire cruise was carried out during the period from January to March, 2013. Hydrographic observation was made using a Sea-Bird Electronics (SBE) 36 position carousel equipped with 10-liter Niskin water sample bottles, a CTD system (SBE911plus) equipped with JFE Advantech oxygen sensor (RINKO III) along 149E. Water samples were analyzed for salinity, dissolved oxygen and nutrients. Current data was measured by Teledyne RDI's vessel-mounted ADCP system (38kHz Ocean Surveyor). This dataset is U.S. State Department MSR U2012-018 as part of the World Data Service for Oceanography. Data are in PDF.
